Meet Coach Reed
I competed at the Division I level at Abilene Christian University on a full athletic scholarship, where I developed not only as an athlete but as a student of performance.
After graduating with a degree in Finance, I transitioned into professional competition and continue to compete at a high level, ranked within the top 1000 globally in 2025.
For the past four years, I’ve coached middle and high school athletes in sprint development, focusing on mechanics, energy systems, and long-term progression. My goal is not just to improve times — but to teach athletes how to train with intention and understanding.
Coaching Philosophy
Speed is a skill.
Most youth training focuses on conditioning instead of development. At Reed Performance Lab, we focus on:
• Sprint mechanics and technical efficiency
• Structured energy system development
• Progressive overload without burnout
• Teaching athletes the “why” behind each session
Athletes don’t just train here — they learn how to train.
Our Vision
At Reed Performance Lab, training is about more than speed. We intentionally develop:
• Discipline & Consistency
• Accountability
• Work Ethic
• Time Management
• Coachability
• Understanding Delayed Gratification
Athletes learn how to approach improvement with structure — a mindset that carries into school, sports, and life.
